- The ideal candidate will have at least five years of experience cataloging IT inventory and an abundance of technical hardware knowledge to organize and facilitate a trade out of some of our IT equipment
- The position requires a balance of technical knowledge of IT equipment along with strong project management and exceptional organizational skills
- We are looking for a candidate that has very strong communication skills and who is extremely comfortable verbalizing tasks and deadlines with various members of the management team
- The position will be a hybrid work model with a mix of onsite time and telework. Responsibilities:
Facilitate the distribution and collection of computing assets, including the return and segregation of leased IT equipment of approximately 1,000 computing devices earmarked for EOHED staffFacilitate with IT staff and/or external vendors an organized approach for the return, preparation, and re-distribution of IT equipment amongst Secretariat-wide staffLiaise with a third-party vendor, Secretariat CIO, and IT management staff to establish and then drive the processReview and audit current IT inventory housed in EOHED ITDesignate and inventory items to be kept, recycled, or disposed of as surplus materialEvaluate and consolidate current inventory databasesSuggest efficient inventory management proceduresEvaluate and consolidate current practices within the loss prevention programProvide guidance on asset inventory and management in line with internal and external controls and partiesQualifications:Proficiency in MS OfficeProficiency with MS Project and understanding dependencies in order to develop a roadmap for full execution of a three-phase swap out of equipmentBachelors Degree or higher in Logistics, Inventory Control, Technology or related fieldMinimum 5 years of project management or IT managementMinimum 2 years of inventory control experience
