Imarc is looking for a mid-level Project Manager to help us plan, build, deliver and maintain our award-winning websites. This is a full-time position open at our Amesbury, MA, office.
Our Needs:
Imarc needs someone that is organized, reliable and takes the initiative to proactively identify issues and resolve them. Project managers work on our production teams overseeing multiple projects through production from start to finish. In this role youll be monitoring project progress, making sure our production teams have what they need to deliver digital projects on time and budget, and keeping clients and account managers informed. You'll also act as team lead - directly managing strategists, designers, and web engineers as they plan, design, and build our sites.
We're looking for someone who works well both independently and in a team setting someone who is organized, self-driven, curious, and knowledgeable about the web. Ideal candidates will have 2+ years of experience managing web projects in an agency environment, and some experience managing a team.
Key Responsibilities:
-Act as the day-to-day communications point of contact between Imarc and its clients
-Support Account Managers with logistics, planning and completing priorities
-Work with the production staff to ensure project completion and quality control
-Understand client goals and priorities
-Understand schedules and budgets; keep schedules updated and accurate
-Promote communication between team members
-Make sure team members have required resources
-Simultaneously manage multiple projects
-Provide timely feedback to clients
-Create and maintain schedules, design approvals, content gathering docs, test plans, and QA guidelines
-Provide guidance and leadership to the production team members
-The ability to commute to our downtown Amesbury office and to client locations is a must. Some overnight travel may be required.
