Job Title Embedded Firmware QA City Boston MA State MA Area code 617 Postal Code 02101 Experience 5+ years Skill Bluetooth classic and BLE, mobile devices Tax Term W2 Job Description Responsibilities: Understand frameworks, approaches, and test strategies used by peer teams; leverage, extend, and share wherever possible Champion quality throughout the development process Create the product specific validation plans for manual testing that ensure proper product functionality Design, implement and execute test procedures for Bluetooth devices Implement, track, and report key metrics to assure full coverage of functional and non-functional requirements White and black box manual testing Integration with the software development team for Jira ticket analysis, assistance with test protocol and acceptance criteria creation, and validation of sprint deliverables Qualifications: B.S. in Computer Science or equivalent 5+ years' industry experience in QA or Software Engineering Familiarity with version control, bug tracking, and CI / CD systems and procedures Familiarity with Bluetooth classic and BLE Familiarity with mobile devices and apps Experience with basic lab equipment (Bluetooth analyzers) Experience in the medical device industry and knowledge of FDA regulations is preferred Strong sense of ownership, passionate, fast learner, detail-oriented, analytical mindset, perfection seeker Strong oral and written communication skills
