Staffing Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA)ApplyRefer a FriendBackJob DetailsRequisition #:137367Location:Brockton, MA 02301Category:CNAPosition OverviewThe Certified Nursing Assistant (C.N.A) is responsible for providing personal medical care and assistance with daily living activities that improve quality of life for patients in a Facility Setting while adhering to confidentiality standards and professional boundaries at all times.Supervision: Supervision of the Certified Nursing Assistant (C.N.A) is managed by facility personnel.Job Duties:Adheres to the policies and procedures of the facility/unitPossesses the knowledge and skill necessary to provide appropriate care for patients assigned by the facility/unitCommunicates effectively with patients, visitors, physicians, and co-workersConducts ongoing care as determined by patient’s condition and/or the client facility’s policies, procedures or protocols and reprioritizes care accordingly.Help patient maintain good personal hygiene, such as: Assistance with bathing, toileting, grooming, shaving, skin and nail care, oral hygiene, dressing and eating.Thorough completion and coordination of all required documentationProvide hands-on personal care and performance of simple procedures as an extension of therapy or nursing services.Maintains confidentiality in matters related to patient, family and client facility staff.Reports patient condition to appropriate personnel during each shift.Job Requirements:Current, unrestricted certification or proof of training as required by the stateCurrent CPR certificationHigh school Diploma or equivalentCurrent Continuing Education if required by stateGood organizational and communication skillsPhysical Requirements:Must be able to speak, write, read, and understand EnglishProlonged walking, standing, bending, kneeling, reaching, and twistingMust be able to travel to location with reliable transportationMust be able to sit and climb stairsMust be able to lift and carry up to 25 IBSOther Duties:Please note this job description is not designed to cover or contain a comprehensive listing of activities, duties or responsibilities that are required of the employee for this job.
