About This Role

We are seeking a highly motivated individual with mammalian cell culture experience, a background in molecular or cellular biology and a strong interest in automation to join our Cell Line Development team. Our group is focused on generating industry leading cell lines for clinical and commercial programs. The candidate’s goals will be to engineer highly productive cell lines that enable fast-tracked program timelines. The individual will also be empowered to explore technological improvements geared toward advancing cellular expression platforms as well as workflow sophistication and efficiency.

  • Engineer industry leading cell lines for clinical and commercial stage programs
  • Explore new technology for improving cellular productivity and desirable phenotypes
  • Advance automation utilization in novel ways to improve workflows
  • Explore novel hosts for protein production

Who YouAre

This individual will use molecular and/or cell culture techniques to play a critical role in the development of consequential therapies. They will work as part of a supportive and collaborative team to deliver on key programs while also building out the next generation of cutting-edge cell line development tools.

Qualifications

Education

Associate Scientist II: B.S. in Biochemistry, Biology, or related Biological Sciences required. 0+years of experience.

Associate Scientist III:B.S. in Biochemistry, Biology, or related Biological Sciences required. 2+years of experience.

OR M.S. in Biochemistry, Biology, or related Biological Sciences preferred. 0+ years of experience.

Required Skills

  • Knowledge and experience in mammalian cell culture
  • Demonstrated technical proficiency and creativity
  • A strong desire to learn new skills and contribute to the advancement of a high performing group.

Preferred Skills

  • An understanding of basic to advanced molecular biology techniques
  • Demonstrated automation experience
  • Bioreactor operations
