Job Description
Develop new bioanalytical methods for the quantification of small molecule compounds in biological matrices, such as plasma, CSF and tissue. Analyze samples and timely deliver high quality bioanalytical data to support non-GLP studies across Biogen’s pipelines. Document the experiments and results in Electronic Lab Notebooks. Participate and present results in cross-functional project teams. Write and review study protocols and bioanalytical reports. Manage multiple projects within timelines according to high scientific and ethical standards. Present scientific findings at internal or external scientific meetings.
Qualifications
Required Qualifications: Associate Scientist II - Bachelor’s degree with 0-2 years relevant experience. Associate Scientist III - Bachelor’s degree with 2+ years relevant experience. Hands-on experience with LC-MS/MS bioanalysis of small molecule compounds are required. Experience with other modalities such as oligonucleotides and proteins is a plus. Good understanding of bioanalytical processes used in the laboratory. Basic lab skills including pipetting, handling of animal specimens and operation of common software (Microsoft Word, Excel etc.). Strong learning capabilities and communication skills Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, as well as in a team setting.Preferred Qualifications: Working experience with Sciex instruments and software. Familiarity with Watson LIMS. Familiar with regulatory guidance and industry’s best practices on regulated bioanalysis Experience in GLP bioanalysis in support of nonclinical and clinical studiesAdditional Information
