This application is for a 6-month full-time position from January to June 2022.

Summary

University Programs is the “Human Resources Center of Excellence” responsible for the administration of educational programs at Biogen, including Internships, Co-ops, Post-graduates, and Fellowships. We work across the organization to hire talented students each year, with a focus on experiential learning, educational programming, and diversity & inclusion.

Position Description

As a Co-op on the University Programs team, you will:

  • Assist with reviewing and evaluating resumes, ensuring you are leveraging inclusive hiring practices with a goal of developing a diverse mix of candidates for hiring manager consideration.
  • Lead the development of our internal resources page, providing critical information interns managers, current & future interns, and a toolkit for external promotion of our educational programs.
  • Assist with the administration of our educational programming for interns and Co-ops, evaluating our existing strategy, identifying areas of improvement, and executing upon your recommendation.
  • Have the opportunity to shadow phone screens, offer delivery, & meetings with hiring managers, gaining insight into how enterprise talent acquisition works.

Qualifications

  • Desire to learn about talent acquisition and human resources.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite of products (Word, PowerPoint, Excel).
  • Technical literacy – ability to learn new systems and processes.
  • Strong project management abilities with an eye for detail.
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and organization skills.

To participate in the Biogen Internship Program, students must meet the following eligibility criteria:

  • Legal authorization to work in the U.S.
  • At least 18 years of age prior to the scheduled start date
  • Be currently enrolled in an accredited college or university

Education

Bachelor’s or Master’s student seeking a degree in Human Resource Management, Business Administration, Communications, Project Management, or other related discipline.
