SummaryThe tofersen Product Development and Commercialization (PDC) team is a highly motivated team aspiring to launch the first disease modifying treatment for SOD1-ALS, a rare genetic form of Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis (ALS). Biogen is working with urgency to make tofersen available to people with SOD1-ALS. Our goals are to drive urgency to detect, diagnose and treat SOD1-ALS, establish tofersen as foundation of care for SOD1-ALS and optimize the customer experience.
Position DescriptionYou will help with the management of Biogen’s access program (“CMAP”) for tofersen and support its implementation in different regions across the globe. You will lead and coordinate the communication between Global and Countries. Your support will be critical to ensure the success of the CMAP implementation on a local level.
Additional responsibilities will include supporting our patient identification and genetic testing program “ALS Identified” and expanding it to more regions around the world. This project is pivotal for the success of the tofersen launch and your role will be critical to ensure flawless execution. In your role you will coordinate this expansion with the Regional and Country leaders.
You will also be in charge of managing the team’s SharePoint based internal communication platform.
Qualifications
To participate in the Biogen Internship Program, students must meet the following eligibility criteria:
- Legal authorization to work in the U.S.
- At least 18 years of age prior to the scheduled start date
- Be currently enrolled in an accredited college or university
Bachelor (of Science) with strong analytical and communication skills
Project management skills are a plus
