Job Req #: 21-11290Job Description: Finance ContractorLocation:Cambridge, MA OR REMOTEPosition Type: 12+ Month ContractPart time hours: 18-20 hours/weekAs a member of the finance team, this position will partner with the G&A organization and be a core contributor in financial forecasting, reporting, systems & analysis. Areas of focus will be the following:Being a partner to the G&A organization to help support Budget, periodic forecasts and LRPCreating and distributing Budget Template to the team and submitting budget by partnering closely with the teamPerforming Monthly/Quarterly Variance analysisCreating slides for monthly/quarterly/annual presentations as neededApproving POsAssist with internal management of the report generation process, and use the Oracle financial planning and budgeting system to enhance our analytical tools and support monthly reportingSupport finance process improvement initiatives (e.g. updating POs in Oracle, partner with accounting to help bridge areas of concern)Ad-hoc projects as neededRequirements:3-5 years of finance experience, preferably in Biotech/pharma industryDetail oriented and organizedStrong experience with ERP systems (e.g. Oracle, SAP) and planning and reporting tools; Proficient with Microsoft applications (e.g. excel, PowerPoint)Being able to work collaborative across different levels, independently and within a team environmentAudrey LambTechnical RecruiterAscent303-220-6885 If this is not a fit for you or you are not interested, Ascent Services Group offers an excellent Referral Bonus!
