Microsoft and its partners bring the deepest expertise of Microsoft solutions from enterprise planning to deployment and support that helps our customers innovate to strategic advantage in their respective industries.Industry Solutions Delivery (ISD) is our premium consulting sales, pursuit and delivery organization that delivers leading-edge Digital Transformation projects for our most strategic customers.Within ISD Sales & Pursuit Enablement, we use business capability insights to coach and enable our key Sales & Pursuit leaders on topics that can be improved through personal behavior change, increased awareness of business execution best practices and the optimization of tools and processes. We also support our key stakeholders during their onboarding process and ensure they become part of a strong community of their peers across the world.This high-impact individual contributor role requires collaborative leadership skills with proven track record in pursuits, sales and change management; coupled with the ability to influence successfully in a highly matrixed environment. The role will be a critical part of the HQ Pursuit Strategy and Governance Team and servicing the Americas Time Zone.ResponsibilitiesThis position needs someone who will:Coach and Enable core pursuit processes, methodologies, and business capabilityDrive close alignment with HQ, Americas Regional Business leadership and our broader organization, Industry Solutions: build credible trusted advisor relationships to help our Country teams expand customer relationships win more services business and influence consumption growth.

Coach and advise pursuit lead and pursuit lead management to achieve personal role success, pursuit discipline maturity improvement and achieve more as OneMicrosoft with focus, clarity, and intentionality.

Improve global pursuit & sales strategies, programs, and initiatives by being the conduit/liaison to and from the pursuit strategy & governance team.

Influence the needs and priorities of the Global Pursuit Organization (GPO) on enablement requirements aligned with sales priorities at the Region and Country Level. Activities (blended where necessary) using our Quarterly Planning framework.

Capture and share best practice learnings for feedback to relevant stakeholders and HQ sales and pursuit enablement Teams.

Contribute to the creation and execution of Area Enablement Plans for Sales & Pursuit In partnership with Sales Enablement to maximize the use of corporate resources and minimize randomization.

Partner with sales enablement to deliver high-quality workshops and engagements aligning to global and regional priorities.

Assist with special project assignments as required.

Drive Community, Skilling, Readiness for Pursuit RolesBecome the Community Role owner for our Pursuit Lead and Pursuit Lead Managers to deliver high quality, compelling sessions that drive regular high attendance from the targeted community, within the framework established by the Community Program Owner.

Ensure Teams, SharePoint and other communication vehicles are regularly updated and current and leverage the technology to gather “top of mind” topics and areas of interest to help shape future calls or areas of discussion.

Regularly monitor and drive activity and engagement through virtual channels, chats, and community conversations.

Develop a best practice approach to consistent onboarding for pursuit lead and manager roles. This will be achieved through a combination of leveraging corporate readiness and onboarding materials, onboarding checklists, augmented support and coaching via Hiring Managers/Area Enablement Leads and regular check-ins and feedback mechanisms.

Run regular onboarding introductions and onboarding cohorts where appropriate to promote teaming and community support for new hires as required.

Be an observer and feedback loop to Role Owners, Hiring Managers, Learning and Development, HR and Talent Acquisition teams on skills strengths and weakness to improve readiness, onboarding processes or hiring practices and profiles for future hiring.

Contribute to Role Excellence teams on skills, role success guides and core priorities of the role and promote activities and topics that drive excellence in execution and impact.

Provide feedback to Role Owners and Readiness teams where core skill training is required.

Qualifications5-10 years consulting services and pursuit of sales experience.

5-8 years of exemplary program/project management and organizational skills to manage multiple inputs and stakeholders.

10+ years of enterprise technology sales, consulting, delivery management experience, or relevant experience OR a Bachelor’s degree in Business, Management, Technology or related field AND 6+ years of enterprise technology sales, consulting, or delivery management experience OR a Master's degree in Business, Management, Technology or related field AND 4+ years of enterprise technology sales, consulting, delivery management experience, or relevant experience.

Ability to manage the complexity of summarizing high volumes of content into succinct and impactful communications.

Extensive experience working in Sales or pursuit as a member of an Area or Country leadership team with the ability to build trusted advisor business relationships across a large matrixed network.

Strategic problem solving – identification, framework development, creation of actionable work streams and strong project management.

Ability to represent Area stakeholders’ sentiments and observations to HQ teams and to be an effective communicator with senior leaders.

An action-oriented person with a track record of innovative thinking.

Ability to bring strong customer-centricity and “outside-in” focus to internal processes.

Strong data and analytical skills to bring actionable insights that will result in improved business and role-based performance.

Strong coaching and listening skills to achieve impact through influence.
