- Manage the implementation of the QA program across all departments and functions in compliance with ISO 9001:2015, including quality policy, contract review, project execution, document control, process control, procurement, inspection procedures, corrective action plans, and quality system record
- Develop and initiate standards and methods for inspection, testing, and evaluation by conducting hazard analyses; identifying critical control points and preventive measures; establishing critical limits, monitoring procedures, corrective actions, and verification procedures
- Maintain and improve product quality by conducting audits; investigating customer complaints; collaborating with other departments to develop new product and engineering designs, and manufacturing and training methods, and participating in continuous improvement activities
- Strong problem-solving skills using methods such as 8-D, as well as familiarity with AIAG requirements including PPAP, PFMEA, APQP, SPC and MSA
- Bachelor’s degree required.
- At least 5 years of experience in a design and production environment with an emphasis on quality evaluation and control methods and procedures
- Proven experience with ISO QA standards
- Previous experience with lean manufacturing activities is preferred
- ISO Internal Auditor certified
- Experience with source inspection for government or military contracts preferred.
- Instron-type testing equipment experience highly desirable
