Austins Sportswear is a national screen-printing and embroidery brand based on Cape Cod, with sales reps nationwide. We service many local businesses, but the majority of our business is our national resortwear line, which we wholesale to tourist-targeted shops around the country.
We are currently seeking a new member to add to our in-house art team. The position is full time, and offers a wide variety of challenges and opportunities.Job Duties
Preparing customer-provided artwork for prepress
Altering existing designs to meet new customer needs
Creating new design proposals for our retail line
Creating design mockups to be sent to customers
Communication with customers and sales reps to get art approvals
Communication with our production department to make sure designs are printed as intended.Seeking the following skills
Typography
Adobe Illustrator
Adobe Photoshop
Adobe In-Design (not as important)
Solid art foundation
Some illustration
Communication
This will be a junior position to start. Experience and education are a plus, but we are willing to train the right talented individual. Pay will be based on experience.
