A leading systems integrator of audio visual technology is currently seeking to fill the position of Systems Installation & Integration Tech.
You would participate in the installation, configuration and programming of home theaters, surround sound systems, surveillance & security systems, lighting control, remote control, shading control, and various other automation systems.
The ideal candidate will need to demonstrate their experience with AV systems and be able to effectively communicate technical concepts. The candidate will be working in high-end residential and corporate sites throughout Southeastern Mass & Rhode Island.
Responsibilities:
Installation of Pre-Wiring materials/cabling.
Installation of AV Equipment.
Program, troubleshoot and update Smart Home and Network Device software to optimize system performance, in addition to ease of access for non-technical users.
Analyze and ensure security and integrity of all systems and data.
Provide technical assistance and resolve related issues for users and personnel.
Collaborate with internal assets and support team to ensure customer needs are met.
Develop and implement system recovery protocols in the event of destruction of all or part of the system or components.
Analyze, test, and implement of system and software, ensuring operation compatibility.
Qualifications:
Proficiency with all audiovisual terminations
Ability to correctly read and interpret AV schematics
Low Voltage knowledge
A knack for Equipment Rack Wiring proficiency
Talent in Programming Automation
Ability to troubleshoot, diagnose and resolve system issues
Excellent communication skills
High degree of professionalism
A sense of humor
Ability to communicate professionally with clients and explain systems to clients in a way they can understand
Experience with home automation systems such as Lutron & Savant are highly preferred
Experience with D-Tools proposal, design & project management software
This is a sub-contractor job with opportunity for permanent full-time employment. Hours will vary between 20-40 hours per week.
