Description An industry-leading manufacturing company specializing in the packaging industry is seeking a Financial Controller. With a key focus on delivering superior performance, the company is regarded as a pioneer with over 100 years' experience in evolving businesses to meet new challenges. The Financial Controller will report to the VP of Finance and General Site Manager and will be responsible for providing financial leadership and support within the operating business with an annual turnover of approximately $20M. The role will ensure operations are within agreed financial and business control frameworks, drive the implementation of group-wide policies and initiatives, and provide financial insights to support superior business performance delivery. This position requires an in-office presence with flexibility for remote work. Some travel, less than 10% annually, to the UK and Canada is expected.Requirements Education, Experience, and Skills:

University degree and recognized accounting designation (CPA).

Proven track record of achievement with 5+ years’ experience in cost accounting and/or financial planning and analysis under IFRS (manufacturing or project-based accounting).

Experience in a multi-location (preferably multi-national) matrix organization.

Excellent communication skills - written and oral (including presentation skills).

Erudite in ERP systems with advanced Excel user experience.

Key Competencies:

Relevant experience in a Controller role.

Manufacture experience, with a focus on percentage of completion methodology.

Energetic, outgoing personality with a positive attitude.

Collaborative, hands-on approach.
