Associate Scientist

Title: Associate Scientist Location: Devens, MA Start date: 5/1/23 Our client is looking for the following: Responsibilities:

Provide support for single-use systems implementation including the authorship of qualification, validation technical documentation, and support to project teams

Conduct and coordinate analysis of next generation drug substance storage bags in a laboratory setting (Author protocols, execute experiments, analyze data, and author final report as required)

Support consumable specification updates and development

Evaluate and manage supplier change notifications to single-use systems (component design, manufacturing process, specification, etc.) to maintain GMP compliance.

Collaborate closely with Manufacturing, Manufacturing Technology, Quality Assurance, Quality Control, Supply Chain, and Global Procurement on cross-functional project teams

With the following credentials:

Requirements:

B.S. in Chemical, Biochemical, Material Science Engineering, or Chemistry

A successful candidate will have understanding of material science, biology and/or chemistry

Technical and laboratory report writing experience

Awareness of good laboratory practices (GLP), cGMP compliance, and regulatory agency requirements

Strong verbal communication, interpersonal, planning and time management skills
