Here are the details: Position: Web Application Development Lead Location: Dorchester, MA Rate: Negotiable based on experience Duration: 5+ months Position Description: Our client is looking for an experienced Online Web Application Development team lead who has strong experience as an application integrator to develop Retail Online Banking or Business Online Banking platforms for the bank using Agile delivery methodology with exposure to standard tools, DevOps and other aspects. Responsibilities: • Support the entire application lifecycle (concept, design, test, release, and support) • Produce fully functional mobile applications writing clean code • Gather specific requirements and suggest solutions • Write unit and UI tests to identify malfunctions • Troubleshoot and debug to optimize performance • Design interfaces to improve user experience • Liaise with Product development team to plan new features • Ensure new and legacy applications meet quality standards • Research and suggest new mobile products, applications, and protocols • Stay up to date with new technology trends • Build & deployment experience using GitHub, uDeploy, CI/CD, CVS, Continuous, Maven, etc., • Work with the Integration team to architect and support integration and error reporting solutions • Participate in the entire application lifecycle, focusing on coding and debugging • Collaborate with Front-end developers to integrate user-facing elements with server-side logic using MuleSoft and APIConnect technologies and appropriate leading-edge technologies such as elastic search, Kibana, Splunk • Creating, maintaining and versioning API's in the MuleSoft Anypoint Platform management layer • Use and examine current transformation technologies such as XML, JSON, CSV and SQL • Gather and address technical and design requirements and prepare required documentation • Liaise with developers, designers, and system administrators to identify new features Agile methodology skills and experience with Jira, Confluence, Continuous integration, and DevOps skills (Nexus, Jenkins) Required Experience: • Very valuable security skills, WAF/Akamai, BOT Manager, etc to interact with Protect and security team Technical Skills • 10+ years of experience working with MuleSoft and APIConnect technologies, Elastic Search, Kibana, Splunk, network/application protocols including HTTPS, TCP/UDP, ARP, and IPv4, SQL, Google Analytics, Firebase, Crashlytics. Proven work experience as a Mobile Application Development Lead • Exposure to GitHub, Maven, CVS, Continuous, JIRA, Confluence, System V Packaging, Jenkins, GitLab. Continuous Integration and Continue Deployment (CI/CD) DevOps, uDeploy on Kubernetes platform • Demonstrable portfolio of released applications on the App store or the Android market • In-depth knowledge of at least one programming language like Swift and Java • Experience with third-party libraries and APIs • Familiarity with OOP design principles Soft Skills: • Team player or a lead who can manage multiple channels build and delivery process • Strong communication and leadership skills • Positive attitude and approach to work during stressful situations • Excellent analytical skills with a good problem-solving attitude • Ability to perform in a team environment • Thinks outside the box • Experience to start with manual and build out automation framework and strategy Additional Benefits: For this opportunity, you will also be eligible for benefits through Apex for the contract period, 401K, medical/health benefits options, a W2 hourly rate, weekly pay, and direct deposit!
