Job Description
The Customer Service Representative will provide customer service and support to our customers. This includes frequent customer interaction and processing of orders. The successful candidate will also communicate customer terms and conditions. This position serves as a link between customers, sales, manufacturing and shipping. Order accuracy is critical to superior customer service, meeting delivery requirements and to maintain low cost service to the customers.
YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES WILL INCLUDE:
Activities may include, but are not limited to:
Receive and process orders via telephone, fax, mail, EDI, ecommerce and field sales personnel.
Enter orders into the business system, with accuracy and timeliness.
Expedite and follow-up on orders placed to ensure total customer satisfaction.
Interface with credit, manufacturing and warehouse as needed to service the customers.
Make outgoing calls to existing customers and prospects to support sales growth
Participate in team efforts which involve process improvements, Six Sigma methodology and cross functional approach
Qualifications
Minimum of three years experience in a customer service role or a closely related position.
Professional telephone skills education/coursework preferred.
Telemarketing experience would be beneficial in this role.Proven communication, listening and organizational skills. Ability to "multitask" effectively.
Experience with web-based customer support and/or E-commerce system recommended.
Must be computer literate; experience with order entry/word processing in Windows and Google environment.
Preferred candidate will have experience in manufacturing environment.
Bilingual English/Spanish would be a plus.
