Our client, a leading medical devices company is looking for a
Senior Corporate Accountant. This is for an initial duration of 3 months and is located in Framingham, MA. Shift Timing: 8:30 am – 5:00 pm (may have some overtime 2-3 days of the month due to month end close) Responsibilities:- Provide timely and accurate consolidated information to support internal reporting requirements as well as monthly, quarterly and annual
- Assist in the monthly global close and consolidation, including preparation of consolidating entries.
- Prepare monthly financial package for the senior finance team and the Corporate team.
- Analyze consolidated financial statements and monthly operating results of each region.
- Input monthly/quarterly statistics, leadership metrics, and supplemental files.
- Provide timely communications to regional finance leads, including communication of the monthly close calendar and related flash reviews, to meet close deadlines.
- Monthly reporting on functional indirect spending - T&E, consulting, recruiting.
- Coordinate and support Corporate activities and initiatives with counterparts in Asia, Europe, Americas and Japan.
- Participate in global finance projects and initiatives aimed at improving efficiency, increasing standard work and creating global processes.
- Assist in the maintenance of a strong SOX-compliant control environment including participation in the anti-corruption self-testing process.
- Support business audits conducted by external and internal auditors, as required.
- Provide support to financial operations in the areas of general accounting, commercial support, planning & forecasting, and any other accounting/finance related activities.
- Support functional areas, as required, by providing financial and business analytic support.
- Work closely with the FP&A function in business support and analysis, as required.
- Participate in continuous improvement activities within the functional area as well as throughout the organization.
- Provide detailed on-going financial support to aid in meeting Controllership goals and objectives.
- BS/BA in Finance/Accounting, CPA preferred.
- 5+ years of increasing responsibility in finance and accounting, preferably in a multinational, publicly-traded organization possessing manufacturing operations or public accounting.
