Job Description
POSITION SUMMARY
The Supply Chain Coordinator will be responsible for opening inventory that comes into the lab.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES
· Open and unpack specimens for the laboratory
· Integrate new deliveries into warehouse to maintain ease of use
· Work closely with and help support the warehouse
· Meet delivery companies at time of drop off to obtain specimens
· Check receipts to make sure all shipments and specimens were received
· Support inventory management and warehouse efficiency projects
· Follow up with delivery companies if shipment is running late
· Help support laboratory staff
· Other essential projects as assigned
Qualifications
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS
· High school diploma
· Computer skills to include Microsoft office, familiarity with Microsoft Excel preferred.
· Strong communication skills
· Ability to meet time constraints and work well under pressure
· Must be able to lift, stoop and move shipments
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS
· Experience working within supply chain or warehouse
Additional Information
Position is full-time,Monday-Friday, 8:30 AM- 5:00 PM., with overtime as needed. Position is currently located in Framingham, MA.Candidates currently living within a commutable distance of Framingham, MA are encouraged to apply.
