Job Description

Basic Function and Scope of Responsibility:

The Marketing Communications Manager conceptualizes, executes, analyzes, and continually improves upon marketing collateral projects and multichannel campaigns that increase awareness of Transplant Genomics’ brand and generate leads for the full portfolio of Eurofins Transplant Genomics products, ultimately supporting increased growth and revenue.

This role gives leadership in executing marketing tactics, including online and print advertising, lead generation and lead nurturing campaigns, exhibition and event promotion, corporate social media, search engine marketing and search engine optimization, and multimedia projects, as well as analyzing results and effecting continual improvement.

Essential Job Duties:

  • Serves as the chief steward and evangelist of Transplant Genomics’ brand values, brand identity, and reputation
  • Researches, evaluates, and implements relevant and effective marketing tactics; measures, analyzes and improves performance of marketing tactics
  • Leads the marketing campaign process for product launches, promotional initiatives, and event and educational promotion by creating integrated, multichannel marketing campaigns
  • Creates advertisements, sell sheets, brochures, press releases, social posts, case studies, white papers, presentation decks, videos, and other collateral that clearly demonstrates the value of Transplant Genomics’ products
  • Manages website content; develops a website traffic plan including search engine optimization efforts and paid search advertising; and creates goals and benchmarks
  • Continually optimizes marketing messages and tactics through regular analysis and by conducting A/B testing of email, social posts, landing pages, and offers
  • Analyzes of the effectiveness of all marketing efforts, including their contribution to the effectiveness of sales priorities
  • Builds strategic relationships with third-party marketing partners, vendors, and freelancers; manages partner relationships and evaluates partner performance
  • Stays abreast of medical and scientific developments by reviewing current literature, monitoring competitor activities, attending scientific conferences, and networking with experts
  • Continually develops their skills, certifications, and professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops, reviewing professional publications, establishing personal networks, and participating in professional societies
  • Represents the marketing department and Transplant Genomics favorably and in accordance with established Eurofins standards and associate attributes
  • Performs all other duties as assigned by management

The Ideal Candidate Would Possess

  • Ability to quickly learn, comprehend, retain, and express complex scientific and medical concepts
  • Ability to effectively present complex scientific and medical concepts through a wide range of written and visual marketing communications channels
  • Ability to create a variety of impactful marketing materials that effectively communicate Transplant Genomics’ scientific validity and clinical utility
  • Ability to understand and effectively compare and contrast Transplant Genomics’ technologies against complementary and competitive technologies
  • Ability to understand the treatment and care of transplant patients, immunosuppression management, transplant rejection, and related areas of Transplant Genomics' focus
  • Ability to monitor and understand relevant information from clinical studies and academic journals
  • Strong computer, technology, and organizational skills
  • Excellent communication skills (oral / written / presentation) and attention to detail
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team; self-motivation; adaptability; and a positive attitude
  • Ability to adopt new techniques, perform multiple tasks simultaneously, keep accurate records, follow instructions, and comply with company policies

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in marketing, communications, journalism, business, or similar; or an equivalent combination of education and experience
  • 3+ years marketing experience within transplant, clinical, pharmaceutical, medical device, biotechnology, diagnostic, or other life sciences industries
  • Proficiency in Salesforce or Microsoft Dynamics, HubSpot, WordPress, Adobe Creative Suite, Google Ads, Google Analytics, Microsoft Office, and other common desktop applications
  • Willing to travel up to 20%
  • Authorization to work in the United States indefinitely without restriction or sponsorship

Additional Information

Transplant Genomics has a mandatory COVID-19 vaccination policy.

Working hours for this position are typically Monday through Friday, 9:00a.m–5:00p.m. (with occasional evenings and weekends as needed). Candidates can expect to work a hybrid office / remote schedule, with primarily in-office days and some work-from-home days. Candidates should live within a reasonable regular commuting distance from Framingham, MA.
