Job Description
We have an exciting, essential role for a working Group Leader to also supervise a cell culture team on a client site in the Framingham, MA area. This Group Leader and team will support routine daily maintenance and management of all lab-based equipment (including coordinating with vendor-supported maintenance per schedule), set-up and maintain small scale and pilot scale bioreactors, and executed Cell Culture studies in the small scale and pilot labs.
Qualifications
- B.S. degree in science related field
- Experience executing cell culture studies in small scale/pilot lab
- Leadership experience
- Experience building bioreactors, taking down/washing bioreactors and all associated parts and probes
- Experience with set-up and maintenance of small scale and pilot scale bioreactors
- Experience inoculating, feeding, sampling reactors and shaking flasks, running samples on analytical equipment, compiling data/ results
- Experience maintain cell culture passages
- Experience calibrating probes, autoclave bioreactors, and batch media aseptically
- Proficiency navigating online acquisition software (MFCS, DeltaV, ambr) and monitoring trends
- Experience with ELN
