This Product Owner will support a SAFe agile team through the entire software development life cycle (SDLC) to deliver features and enhancements to Sierra.com.This person will be at the ground level for changes that have a direct impact on our shopping customers.Core responsibilities include prioritizing the scrum team’s backlog, managing stakeholder expectations, working with the team to prepare and present the sprint review & demo, prepare user stories, document “as-is” and “will-be” state, leading sprint planning, actively participate in all scrum ceremonies, prepare release documentation, and work across teams as needed.· We are looking for teammates who share our passion for building excellent customer experiences using agile methodologies.· We need more smart, agile, critical thinkers who love delivering things that will delight our customers. Job Responsibilities · This person will enable optimal team performance by ensuring that the team continuously has a backlog of well-defined and estimated user stories. The Product Owner leads sprint planning to ensure the team commitments are achievable, the business requirements are met, and the team is performing optimally.· This role has wide-ranging partnerships, working day-to-day with scrum masters, product managers, epic owners, and solution delivery managers. There will also be close collaboration with other teams, like Architecture, Security, Core Applications, Analytics, Mobile Apps, and our Digital business partners who set the vision and direction for our digital properties. Work experience · 5-7 years as a Product Owner within dedicated agile teams· Excellent verbal and written communication skills, tailoring to audiences· Excellent critical thinking skills and demonstrated ability to proactively manage stakeholder expectations· Proven success as a self-starter demonstrated in a highly collaborative, matrix environment· Strong working knowledge of agile methodology, techniques, and frameworks such as SAFe, Scrum, or Kanban· Relevant undergraduate BA, BS degree in IT or Business or equivalent experience· Strong working knowledge of Jira and Confluence. Preferred Qualifications · Product Owner/Product Manager (POPM) or Certified Scrum Product Owner (CSPO) preferred· eCommerce, Retail, or Supply Chain business process knowledge/experience· Experience with Adobe and Google Analytics a plus Education· Relevant undergraduate BA, BS degree in IT or Business or equivalent experience.
