Solidus is looking for a Senior Software Engineer to lead our development team working to meet overall requirements determined by for a modernization of a Modelling and Simulation effort. Work environment will include Paired Programing, CI/CD, on an Agile development team.

The successful candidate will develop, maintain and improve upon the performance of existing software code, with duties to design and update software under contract and direction from the assigned Government Product Manager. Responsibilities: - Serve as a senior technical leader for the development team - Provide senior hands-on experience in developing, implementing and leading software teams. - Write test scripts in an agile software development environment with an emphasis on automated test procedures, and continuous integration and continuous delivery of software - Recommend improvements to existing software applications as necessary - Perform the software tasks identified in the contract requirements in forming and working on Government/Contractor software teams.

Minimum Experience Requirements: - ship and the ability to obtain DoD Secret Clearance - At least 2 years of relevant experience developing in languages commonly used for data analysis such as Python, R, Julia, or SAS - 5+ years' experience in full stack development to include Java, Spring-boot, JavaScript or TypeScript, Node, React, RESTful web services, database, and/or web application development - Experience working with multiple database types such as SQL, Redis and MongoDB - Experience building and integrating the at the application and database level - Experience developing REST/SOAP APIs and messaging protocols and formats - 3+ years' experience with agile and lean philosophies - 3+ years' experience with test driven development practices - 2+ years' experience with DevSecOps tools and processes to include, but not limited to Git, Concourse, SonarQube, Fortify and ThreadFix - 2+ years' experience with container technologies such as Docker or Kubernetes. - 1+ years' experience implementing event driven solutions leveraging tools like RabbitMQ or Kafka - At least 2 years of theoretical and practical background in statistical analysis, machine learning, predictive modeling, and/or optimization - Experience with Continuous Delivery and Continuous Integration techniques - Experience prototyping front-end visualizations utilizing data visualization suites such as Kibana or Splunk
