- Responsible to implement the solution in a framework that is more readily available and demonstrate ease of use. When factoring new architecture make build v/s buy decision and consider cost aspects.
- Work in coordination with other internal teams to ensure the infrastructure fully and effectively supports current and planned application systems.
- Designing and deploying applications on the cloud and Identifying and using appropriate cloud services to support applications on the cloud
- Migrating on-premises applications of the organization to the cloud and Maintaining the usage of cloud services and implementing cost-saving strategies.
- Provisioning resources in AWS infra. using CloudFormation
- Across the AWS account Roles and access management
- Log management in Cloudwatch
- 7+ years of experience in which a minimum of 4+ years of professional Services (customer facing) experience, 4+ years in AWS.
- Applied knowledge of architectural, design patterns on AWS & Working knowledge of AWS with an experience building a high available / Fault tolerant infrastructure
- In depth Knowledge of a wide range of AWS services, strong ability to design AWS infrastructure based on the application requirements
- Strong understanding and hands on experience in deploying, troubleshooting issues with Compute, Networking, Storage and Server Database services on AWS.
- Experience with Infrastructure Automation, Infrastructure Capacity Monitoring and Automated Scaling solutions
- Support Cloud development pipelines using CI/CD tooling, Cloud Formation and other Infrastructure as Code tooling as appropriate. Configuration Management and Infrastructure as a code ((e.g. Chef, Puppet, Ansible, Terraform, CloudFormation, ARM etc). Strong Cloudformation, IAM, SSM hands on experience is a must.
- Strong experience in designing & implementing security in AWS
- Expert in provisioning resources in AWS using CloudFormation (A Must)
- Strong experience in RDS (PostgreSQL, Server) and Redshift. Should be able to provision and support end to end on RDS and Redshift. Experienced with Hive is a huge plus
- Working experience of AWS Monitoring, IAM user and role configurations, alerting and logging tools, and build/release processes.
- Possess a thorough understanding of Internet based technologies (DNS, Security, IP Routing, SSH, FTP, LDAP, SSL HTTP/HTTPS, Email Routing, etc.)
- General automation including AWS / Azure CLI, or Ansible, Python, PowerShell and Bash scripting.
- Linux administration experience preferred.
- Experience administering and deploying development CI/CD tools such as Git, Jira, GitLab, or Jenkins
- Experience/Knowledge of other cloud platforms (Azure, Google Cloud) is a plus
- Experience/knowledge of Docker, Kubernetes, and Deployment of Microservices is a plus
- Collaborative, team focus with working experience in a 24x7 uptime environment
- Strong verbal and written communications skills are a must
- AWS Solution Architect Associate or up
- AWS Certified SysOps Administrator Associate or up
- AWS Certified DevOps Engineer Professional
- AWS Solutions Architect Professional.
