ACCOUNTABILITIES:

  • Designs, codes, tests, debugs and documents software according to the client's systems quality standards, policies and procedures.
  • Analyzes business needs and creates software solutions.
  • Responsible for preparing design documentation.
  • Prepares test data for unit, string and parallel testing.
  • Evaluates and recommends software and hardware solutions to meet user needs.
  • Resolves customer issues with software solutions and responds to suggestions for improvements and enhancements.
  • Works with business and development teams to clarify requirements to ensure testability.
  • Drafts, revises, and maintains test plans, test cases, and automated test scripts.
  • Executes test procedures according to software requirements specifications Logs defects and makes recommendations to address defects.
  • Retests software corrections to ensure problems are resolved.
  • Documents evolution of testing procedures for future replication.
  • May conduct performance and scalability testing.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Leads small to moderate budget projects; may perform in project leadership role and/or may supervise the activities of lower level personnel.
  • Provides resolutions to a diverse range of complex problems.
  • Executes schedules, costs and documentation to ensure assigned projects come to successful conclusion.
  • May assist in training, assigning and checking the work of less experienced developers.
  • Performs estimation efforts on projects and tracks progress.
  • Drafts and revises test plans and scripts with consideration to end-to-end system flows.
  • Executes test scripts according to application requirements documentation.
  • Logs defects, identifies course of action and performs preliminary root cause analysis.
  • Analyzes and communicates test results to project team.
Senior Software EngineerResponsibilities:-Creates design specifications for high availability and highly scalable applications which will be used by both internal and external customers and works with clients or Product Owner to determine software requirements and system impacts-Generates technical documentation as well as unit and functional tests-Responsible for ensuring quality of their work as well as the work of the entire development team and works closely with the global development team, other senior Solution Architects to plan ongoing feature development, product maintenance, and management of development teamsRequirements:o 5-7 years experienceo Expertise in most of the following .net Core API, MVC, HTML5, CSS, JavaScript, JSON, SOAP, REST, JQuery, angular.js, .Net Framework (version 4.6 and above), C#, Web Services and expert knowledge of object oriented programming and knowledge of Oracleo Works closely with the Architects and the development teams through all phases of the SDLC and investigates new technologies and techniques and initiates major changes in architecture and software development techniques/processes and analyzing business requirements, processes, data, and system integration points to determine/recommend appropriate technology solutionso Designing, coding, testing, documenting, and deploying global applications based on system and user requirementso Familiar with Unit Test, Mock, Test Driven Development and analyze and resolve performance issues in all environmentso Expert knowledge in analyzing, designing, and developing solutions to highly complex problemsDesirable Requirements:o Engineering Degree in Computer Science/Engineering, or equivalent professional experienceo 5-7 years of related experience in Microsoft technologieso Knowledge of AI and Client will be pluso Experience in GitLab and cloud deployments will be plusLocation: 100% remote - preferably in the MA area.Duration: Possible extension past listed end date but not guaranteed.Hours: Standard business hours.The Company is an equal opportunity employer and makes employment decisions on the basis of merit and business needs.
