Using research and fact-finding, you will recommend developments and modifications for applications or databases. This is a permanent Programmer Analyst role based in Hudson, Massachusetts. Apply today.How you will make an impactServes as the in-house guide for internal clients experiencing programming problems, consulting on applications, systems and/or processes for identifying and resolving, processing/reporting the issues. Consultation can include troubleshooting and/or education
Assesses processing systems. Builds improvement recommendations
Collaborates on establishing communication materials for specific system changes being implemented in production
Assesses and logs issues. Works alongside other programmers to correct problems with code
Supports end users and other partner groups, providing ongoing training and assistance for a particular application, system or process
Assembles and maintains dictionaries for applications and systems support by the analyst
Evaluates user requests for systems changes or improvements. Registers functional requirements and reviews cost, feasibility and utility. Recommends how, when and whether to make the changes
Build and assess programming changes for every phase of systems development prior to implementation. Record test cases and expected results. Ensure results meet requirements. May develop basic tests or a defined subset of a larger system test. May make suggestions regarding acceptance/rejection if not all requirements are met
Requirements - Excellent written, verbal and social communication skills highly desired
Demonstrated grasp of programming languages
Previous experience as a project leader for the business portion of developmental applications or major systems improvements
Versatile project planning abilities that include project costing techniques
Comprehension of PC and mainframe hardware/software
WPF - Windows Presentation Foundations experience
C# experience required
