Solidus is searching for an RF System Integration Engineer.

The successful candidates will join a group that develops and demonstrates new algorithms, architectures, and hardware implementations for processing signals for a broad range of RF system applications, including advanced wireless communications and signals intelligence. The successful candidate willis for a system integration engineer with RF expertise and system-wide coordination experience

Responsibilities: - Design, develop, and test RF subsystems using COTS components at HF frequencies and higher (possibly up to 10's of GHz) - Design, develop, and test analog and digital phased arrays for mmWave systems - Coordinate logistics of large scale hardware installations including interfacing between lab engineers and site managers/installers

Required Skills: - US Citizenship and an active DoD Secret Clearance - MS + 8 years of experience or PhD + 5 - Experience with PCB Design and Layout - 8 years of experience with RF Systems - Experience with RF subsystem design - Experience designing and lab-testing RF subsystems (e.g., use of network analyzers, signal generators, etc.)

Preferred Experience: - 8 years Phased Array Antennas - 8 years RF Signals (Antennas, EM Propagation and Modeling, Down-Conversion Receivers) - 8 years Signal Processing - 8 years Signal Processing - Experience with communication signal processing and protocols - Experience coordinating and fielding RF-based equipment for test and demonstration - Experience in phased array design from 10's of MHz to 10's of GHz
