Solidus is searching for a Signal and Image Processing Engineer to join a team that supports a broad range of organizations including our nation's cyber forces, the intelligence community, and a variety of other federal agencies.

The candidate should be experienced in Digital Signal Processing, protocol analysis, and communications system prototyping.

Required Skills: - US Citizenship and able to obtain an DoD Security Clearance. Active Secret preferred - MS degree with at least 2 years of experience or BS degree with at least 5 years of experience

Must Haves: - Code Generation from Matlab/Simulink - Advanced Signal Processing, Receiver/Transmitter Design, Radar Architectures - DSP, Processor, Micro Controllers - MATLAB Signal Processing Techniques (Fourier Transformations, filters, etc.) - Digital signal processing (DSP) - DSP prototyping in Matlab and Simulink - Proficiency with Communications signal processing and protocol analysis - Requirements analysis, trade-space analysis, and system engineering

Preferred Skills: - Xilinx FPGA - VHDL / Verilog - Analog and Mixed Signal (especially RF) - Beamforming - Sapce-time Adaptive Processing - FPGA prototyping in preparation for transition to ASIC development - Digital system design using the Xilinx tool suite - Familiarity with VHDL - Development of testing capabilities for digital Systems on Chip (SoCs), including testbench and test-vectors in modelsim and on-chip
