Solidus is searching for a Digital Design Engineer.

Candidate will join a team that prototypes processor solutions for a portfolio of DoD sensor applications and testbeds. Successful individual will be responsible for designing, coding, and debugging FPGA applications using industry available, best practice FPGA development languages and tools. Immediate task is to develop, test and integrate FPGA functions for a new Radar Pre-Processor subsystem. The design/implementation must be scalable to accommodate growth in the number of antenna receive channels as Radar system capabilities extend. Future versions may include signal processing and beamformer functionality. The candidate will be the primary FPGA developer on the Pre-Processor team.

Requirements - ship and the ability to obtain DOD Secret Clearance; Active Secret highly preferred - 5 years' minimum relevant experience - Bachelor's Degree

Required Experience - General FPGA development experience - Xilinx FPGA - Xilinx Toolsets (Vivado, Vitis) - ASICs, VLSI, and Missed Signal Circuit Design - Experience with AXI Memory Mapped I/O - Vivado - Vivado IP Integrator - TCP/UDP & basic networking on FPGA - Creating and maintaining accurate and detailed design files - Complex, high-speed HDL based implementations of algorithms - Design/HDL analysis, including high speed and low power design - High Speed, Class II, & Class III Designs - Performing basic design calculations - Product Design - Hardware Design - VHDL / Verilog - Strong communication and collaboration skills

Additionally Desired - Xilinx ERNIC core - Radar Signal Processing - Knowledge of DMA concepts i.e., RoCE - RDMA over Converged Ethernet - Knowledge of VITA Radio Transport (V49.1/V49.2) - Vitis Embedded Development - Knowledge of Yocto Linux or Petalinux - Knowledge of Radar systems and Signal Processing - Experience with basic networking including TCP/UDP stacks and protocols, ethernet addressing, etc.
