Solidus is searching for an Electrical Engineer.

Candidate will join a team that develops and applies laser systems and optics in solutions of defense and other U.S. Government needs. Successful individual will support in the building, integrating, characterizing, and testing of developmental laser systems. This position is for engineering support personnel to participate in the development of electronics and control systems for laser systems.

Requirements - ship and the ability to obtain DOD Secret Clearance; Active Secret preferred - Bachelor's Degree - 2 years' minimum relevant experience

Required Experience - Proficiency with LabVIEW / MATLAB - Electronic Test Equipment - General Electronics Expertise i.e., Analog and Digital - New Circuit Characterization and Qualification - New Circuit Debug - Machine Vision Systems i.e., digital cameras and associated video capture electronics - Laser Control Systems - Data Acquisition Systems i.e., A/D and D/A, LabVIEW

Additionally Desired - Master's Degree - FPGA Programming - DSP, Processor, Micro Controllers - Experience with embedded microcontrollers

Responsibilities include but not limited to - Implementing control interface for various instruments and hardware - Developing applications for desktop or embedded use - Developing user interfaces under supervision of technical staff
