Solidus is searching for a Network Engineer.

Candidate will support a team that supports the Missile Defense Agency in the development, deployment, testing, and enhancement of the nation's missile defense system. Successful individual will contribute to supporting the special networking requirements of multiple projects with local and remote locations, manage team's specific networks and collaborate on the management of networks.

Requirements - ship and the ability to obtain DOD Secret Clearance; Active Secret preferred - BS degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Network Engineering or Management, or other Information Technology field - 5 years' minimum relevant experience - Cisco Certified Network Associate Certification or working towards Cisco Certified Networking Professional

Required Experience - Strong understanding of Networking Technologies - Design and Architecture Complex Networks - Network Architecture - Networking experience i.e., routers, switches, firewalls, servers - Optimization of Distribution Networks - PaloAlto configuration - System Auditing, Hardening and Firewall Configurations - Troubleshoot and Resolve Complex Networking Issues - UDP Multicast and Unicast - Work well independently as well as with a team - Must possess excellent communication skills

Additionally Desired - Palo Alto Networks Certified Cybersecurity Associate - Experience with COMSEC equipment - Experience with configuration and management of CISCO, Juniper, and Extreme hardware - Vulnerability Assessments - SSH Server implementation, Linux Networking Configuration, Host Based Firewall, Web Server - Network Systems Analysis - Quickly troubleshoot and resolve complex networking issues - Manage multiple projects and tasks
