Solidus is searching for a Solutions Architect.
Candidate will join a team that develops artificial intelligence algorithms, technologies, and systems for extracting information from multimedia data in adverse conditions. They also work on AI solutions for a diversity of cyber analytics. The candidate will support the cyber, Artificial Intelligence (AI), Human Language Technology (HLT) portfolio. This qualified individual will implement and deploy Linux and MS-Windows server systems; deploy software services developed by other program contributing developers; support software troubleshooting and isolation. Additionally, this qualified individual will assist with configuration and support of Linux standalone and virtual server environments; assist with creation and maintenance of research test-bed systems; assist with support group infrastructure: Servers, networks and clients; assist with maintenance of network configurations, install and configure network switches, firewalls and routers; assist with implementation and maintenance of backup and health monitoring systems; other systems administration tasks necessary to maintain system use (documentation, troubleshooting, and problem resolution); assist with assembly of racks, rack-mounted servers; work with all hardware for electrical power, networking, and KVM access.The Solutions Architect will perform advanced network and systems administration of classified and unclassified systems, as well as implement multiple software project deployments and ensure minimal to no negative impact to the test-bed development environments. Specific activities include; deploying and maintaining IT systems in Department of Defense SIPRNET environments, in addition to experience architecting, deploying and maintaining of Linux-based classified and unclassified server environments, requiring experience in Linux-based automated deploy environments, experience using modern declarative configuration management tools, and experience maintaining VMware infrastructure environments. Additional activities include functioning in the role of Information System Security Officer (ISSO) for System Security Plans.Requirements - ship and Top Secret Clearance - Bachelor Degree preferred - 7 years ' minimum relevant experienceRequired Experience - Red Hat Linux Certification - Linux Administration - AI/ML infrastructure and GPU Compute - Cloud-based Solutions (e.g. AWS, AZURE, Google) - Determine Systems Specifications - Experience with container technology (Docker, Podman, etc) - Redhat Enterprise Linux 7 & 8 - Systems Architecture - VMWare ESXi and Associated Management Systems - Security+, CISM, OR CISSP certification is requiredReq ID: 4572 Applicants selected must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information.
