Solidus is searching for a Systems Engineer.
Candidate will join a team that develops space, airborne, and terrestrial prototypes with innovative solutions to challenging national security problems. Example projects include satellite sensors, space-based and ground-based laser communications systems, airborne laser radar, imaging systems on both manned and unmanned aircraft, and small satellites. Successful individual will play a key role in the Verification and Validation (V&V) of a novel space-based system.Requirements • Active Top Secret Clearance • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering • 1+ years of experience postgraduate or equivalent internships/co-op etc.Required Experience • Systems Engineering • Environmental Testing (TVAC, vibration, shock, etc.) • Systems Integration • Systems Engineering • Strong Verbal and Written Communication • Work well independently and as a teamAdditionally Desired • Magic Draw • Model based systems engineering • SysML • Systems engineering on space and optical systemsResponsibilities • Determine how requirements will be verified, planning, and executing the V&V phase of the program, organizing and reporting the results. • Collaboration with the other members of the team including the lead systems engineers and the unit leads for the various subsystems. • Support test execution during Thermal Vacuum (TVAC) and other environmental testing, including some evening, night, and weekend test shifts.Req ID 4390Applicants selected must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information.
