Solidus is searching for an Electro Mechanical Engineer.

Candidate will apply electrical, electronic and mechanical principles to components and systems, including assembly, analysis, and documentation of results; construction of developmental assemblies, sub-assemblies and components; and quality testing. Supports and participates in the design, test, modification, fabrication and assembly of prototype electromechanical systems. Recommends various technology options or approaches for system, processes, facility or program improvements in terms of safety, performance, efficiency or costs. May develop, write and modify Integrated Logistics Support(ILS).

Responsibilities include: - Programming calibration routines - Collecting and analyzing experimental data - Operating a dilution refrigerator and microwave electronics

Required Skills: - ship and the ability to obtain a DoD Clearance; Active Secret Preferred - BS plus 5 years minimum relevant experience(required) - Experience in measurement automation - Experience in microwave electronics - Python programing experience - Demonstrated ability to plan and implement rigorous experiments (superconducting qubit measurements) - Effective communication with technical staff and technicians within and outside of field of specialization

Preferred Skills: - Experience with quantum annealing - MS plus 3 years minimum relevant experience
