Solidus is searching for a Hardware Systems Engineer.

The successful candidates will join a group that performs systems engineering tasks for all phases of prototype systems development, from early design studies to final sell-off. They will provide support systems engineering tasks from the design phase through testing and will support technical Staff in systems engineering activities on a variety of programs.

Responsibilities: - Development and flowdown - Correlating functional and physical decomposition of the problem - Interface specification and management - Environmental specification - Planning for and execution of the assembly - Integration and test phase and the verification and validation efforts. The candidate will be expected to - develop and expand a SysML model, using the MagicDraw tool.

Required Skills: - ship and the ability to obtain a DoD Clearance - Bachelor's Degree + 3 years of Systems Engineering experience 1+ years of experience with the following: -Model based systems engineering - SysML experience

Prefferred Skills: 1+ years of experience with the following: -Hardware and Software Integration - Magic draw - Systems engineering on space systems - Systems engineering with optical systems - Systems Integration - Systems Modeling Req ID - 4054
