Solidus is searching for a Linux Systems Administrator to join a team that provides resources to assist with compliance execution, reporting, and vulnerability remediation activities. In addition, the team is responsible for the overall operation of monitoring tools including; SolarWinds, IT service management tool Footprints, and the organization's central visibility tool - BigFix.

Responsibilities: - Strong understanding of Linux operating systems including both workstation and server varieties while supporting classified computing infrastructure. - Must have a solid background with Linux to include the underlying systems and services that support them such as Satellite, Ansible Automation Platform, disk encryption and patching. - Some background with DevSecOps concepts (artifact repository, container registries, scanning and platforms, etc.) and tools (Sonatype Nexus, JFrog Artifactory, Prisma Twistlock, RHEL OpenShift, etc.) - Proficiency, applying STIGs (full and benchmark), understand how to use DISA's SCC Tool and STIG Viewer and how to evaluate systems for STIG compliance.

Requirements: - ship and an Active Secret Clearance - BS and 5 years minimum relevant experience - Security+ certification (or the ability to obtain within 6 months of employment)

Required skills: - Experience supporting RHEL 7/8 workstation and server - Must have experience using Satellite and Ansible to support Linux systems - Strong overall network skills (e.g. routing, switching and TCP/IP protocol) - System Administration - UNIX platform, OSX, Cisco IOS - Ability to work independently toward delivery of goals as well as collaborate in team efforts - Excellent customer service skills - Excellent presentation, verbal and written communication skills - Demonstrate the ability to learn new technologies and disciplines quickly

Preferred skills: - Experience supporting DevSecOps environments. - Experience supporting software deployment on Linux - Experience supporting NetApp storage systems - DevSec Ops experience - Enterprise Backup Solutions - Hardware: Intel/AMD, Cisco, Sun/Oracle, Dell, Apple, EMC, NetApp - MS Active Directory, LDAP - SCCM, and Active Directory - Strong Backup Experience and Proven Ability to Protect Mission Critical Data - Virtualization Technologies to include VM management, Snapshots, SANs and iSCSI Storage Systems - VM Ware ESXi and Associated Management Systems
