Solidus is searching for a Systems Modeling Engineer.

The successful candidate will join a group that develops advanced laser radar and other active optical systems and algorithm. The group is in need of a Systems Modeling, Simulation and Analysis Engineer to adapt Radar algorithms, mathematical models, and signal processing techniques to laser radar applications.

Responsibilities: - Participate in defining, describing and implementing program deliverables. - Evaluate and improve systems performance through data processing, algorithm evaluation, and mathematical modeling. - Design, develop, and support algorithms utilizing advanced signal processing techniques, modeling and analysis tools, and data analysis for program managers and technical staff.

Required Skills: - Active DoD Secret Clearance, TS preferred - BS+5 years of experience or MS+3 - 5 years experience with Model and Mathematical Simulations - 5 years experience Modeling and Simulation - 5 years experience MATLAB - Software/applications: Matlab and/or Mathematica - Specifying, developing, and verifying models and simulations - Experience with highly-parallizable (cluster-based) code development - Analytical mathematical model development

Preferred Skills: - Algorithms development expertise for Radar and/or Laser Radar systems
