- Current tasking is working in software development for optimization algorithms as part of various Navy and Missile Defense Agency programs.
- It provides a highly configurable environment to develop Battle management algorithms which enumerate potential kill chains, evaluate interactions of sensors, communication systems and weapons and do optimization over those kill chains.
- Primary responsibilities for this role include being the software integration developer.
- Responsible for maintaining the growing number of system configurations, integrating new features into the system, and demonstrating those features to the project sponsor.
- Candidate must be strong in programming, radar processing, and configuration control. Experience with MATLAB, Java and Python (2-4 years). Remaining skills noted in qualification sections, seeking 2-4 years as well.
- Has to be comfortable working in a team of 4-5, able to receive tasking and make progress on large software development projects.
- Able to work independently as well as collaboratively.
- Ability to do system level analysis of algorithm or optimization results.
