Solidus is searching for a C11 Software Engineer.

Position Scope: - Provide support to the software team in designing and implementing a software defined radio testbed - Implement software components within an infrastructure of a complex distributed system Utilize System Modeling/Unified Modeling Language (SYML/UML) design techniques as part of the overall development process - Contribute in different areas of development including networking, hardware abstraction, UI, data transfer and archiving

Required Skills: - U.S. Citizen and able to get a Security Clearance. Active Secret preferred - MS plus 3 years minimum relevant experience, or BS plus 5 years minimum relevant experience Computer Science and Software Engineering preferred.

Must Have 5 Years Experience with: - Software/Algorithm Development - Languages: C/C 11 or later - Standard Template Library Boost - JavaScript Development - Software Design/Development

Experience Also with: - Linux development environment - Developing for resource constrained systems and hardware abstraction layers - Object-oriented development and Portable Operating System Interface (POSIX) - Software lifecycle processes and their associated tools - Software modelling and the Unified Modelling Language (UML)

Preferred Skills: - Languages: Python, Java Script - Tools: MagicDraw (or similar), Atlassian Tool Suite (Bamboo, Jira), Git - Familiarity with MATLAB - Design Patterns, Data Structures, Functional Programming Principles
