Solidus is searching for an C Embedded Software Engineer.
Responsibilities: - Designs and implements software of embedded devices and systems from requirements to production and commercial deployment for product lines. - Designs, develops, codes, tests and debugs system software. - Involved in specifications, design and development of embedded firmware in engineering projects. - Analyzes and enhances efficiency, stability and scalability of system resources. Integrates and validates new product designs. - Supports software QA. - Provides post production support. Interfaces with hardware design and development.Required Skills: - U.S. Citizen and able to obtain a Security Clearance. Active Secret preferred - M.S. degree with at least 2 years experience or B.S. degree with at least 5 years of experience - Experience in embedded systems development - Experience in hands-on development and troubleshooting on embedded targets. - Solid programming experience in C or C - Proven experience in embedded systems design with preemptive, multitasking real-time operating systems - Knowledge of reading schematics and data sheets for components - Strong documentation and writing skillsMust Haves: - Electrical/Electronics - Xilinx FPGA - FPGA prototyping in preparation for transition to ASIC development - Digital system design using the Xilinx tool suite - Proficient in VHDL - Development of testing capabilities for digital Systems on Chip (SoCs), including testbench and test-vectors in modelsim and on-chipPreferred Skills: - Code Generation from Matlab/Simulink - Simulation Tools (ModelSim/Questa) - Digital signal processing (DSP) - DSP prototyping in Matlab and Simulink - Familiarity with Communications signal processing and protocol analysis - Requirements analysis, trade-space analysis, and system engineeringReq ID: 4090Applicants selected must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information.
