Solidus is searching for a Software Engineer to join a team that develops and demonstrates tactically-relevant space situational awareness (SSA) in support of space control. The group focuses on the techniques, operational concepts, and advanced sensor systems that are needed to obtain timely and predictive information about space objects.

The candidate will be responsible for the release process of multiple programs' software and to provide management of all software release activities.

Required Skills: - U.S. Citizen and active Secret Security Clearance - BS in Computer Science or related discipline with 6 plus years of experience is required - Must have ability to complete assignments working independently and in a team environment, and effectively present results - Minimum 6 years of experience with the following: Software Documentation Java/J2EE/JEE (JSP, SERVLETS, JDBC, JSTL, SOAP) Development Java Development JavaScript Development Software Design/Development Maven or Gradle, Git / Gitlab, Make / Autotools Hardware and Software Integration - Minimum 2 years of experience with the following: GIT/GITHUB MVC frameworks (Struts, Spring MVC, Play)

Preferred: - Experience in formal software release and build environments desirable - Technologies desirable: Hudson, Jenkins, Docker, Kubernetes, Portainer - Working with large scale software - Software/Algorithm Development - Object Oriented Software Design and Development - XML and SQL
