Solidus is searching for a Software Developer to support projects in machine learning, advanced autonomy algorithms, mission planning, and their accompanying software stacks.

The successful candidate will join a group that supports the Missile Defense Agency in the development, deployment, testing, and enhancement of the ballistic missile defense system.

Responsibilities: - Software Documentation - Develop production-quality python code in conjunction with a team of other engineers and scientists to advance the state of the art in machine learning and autonomy algorithms. - Design, develop, improve, and maintain various software components and tools that interact with existing hardware and simulation systems.

Required: - U.S. Citizen and active Secret Security Clearance - Bachelor's Degree

- Minimum 3 years of experience with the following: Software/Algorithm Development C/C Programming GIT/GITHUB MATLAB Object Oriented Software Design and Development Python Python/Tensor Flow Software Architecture Software Design/Development Git Man-machine Interfaces Maven or Gradle, Git / Gitlab, Make / Autotools

Preferred: - Minimum 3 years experience with the following: Mathematical Optimization (e.g., linear/integer) High Performance Computing Systems (rack mount, blade servers, etc.) Optimization of Distribution Networks Backend Programming (SQL) XML and SQL Hardware and Software Integration
