Solidus is searching for a Software Developer to join a team that develops the mission critical decision support tools needed to perform key functions such as rapid event detection and dynamic scheduling of assets in order to develop courses of action for the Space Warfighter. The decision support tools are driven by integrating information from various sensors, sources, and systems.
Responsibilities include: - Participate in design and development efforts of web enabled services - Develop and integrate new processing applicationsRequirements: - US Citizenship and must have an Active Top Secret Clearance - BS with 5 years of relevant experience or MS with 3 years of relevant experience. Degrees to include: Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or related disciplines - Software design, development and documentation - Expertise with XML, RESTful Web Services - Solid background in Object Oriented programming methodologies and Software Architecture - Expertise in a high level programming language application development - Experience with messaging systems - Experience with application servers - Familiarity with distributed system architectures and concurrent programming techniques - Experience with common developer tools - Strong Linux, Shell Programming and Perl experience - Java, C/C - Must be team oriented, and must be able to work independently and with team members - Must have good communication and problem solving skills.Preferred: - Familiarity with relational database and SQL skills - Understanding of relational data design and modeling concepts - GUI experience - 5 years experience with: C/C Programming GIT/GITHUB Java Development MVC frameworks (Struts, Spring MVC, Play) XML and SQL Maven or Gradle, Git / Gitlab, Make / Autotools - 2 years experience with: JavaScript Development Aerospace Applications Req ID: 4127Applicants selected must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information.
