Solidus is looking for a Software Engineer to join a group that supports the Missile Defense Agency in the development, deployment, testing, and enhancement of the ballistic missile defense system.

Required: - U.S. Citizen and active Security Clearance - Bachelor's Degree - At least 5 years of software development, documentation and design experience with Linux/Unix, Windows, MATLAB, Java, Python and C/C - Experience working with configuration and control packages to maintain software baselines

Minimum of 5 years experience with the following: - Object Oriented Software Design and Development - Hardware and Software Integration - Backend Programming (SQL) - Redhat Enterperise Linux 7 & 8 - Windows 10 - C11 or later, Stand Template Library,Boost library - Java/J2EE/JEE (JSP, SERVLETS, JDBC, JSTL, SOAP) Development - JSON, Junit, Maven - MVC frameworks (Struts, Spring MVC, Play) - Bash - XML, XSD - CMake, Boost Library - Git; Gitlab CI/CD - Google Protocol Buffers

Preferred: - The ideal candidate will have experience and understanding of basic radar functions and general radar recording methodologies. This includes radar tracking and signal processing concepts such as ballistic/Keplerian motion, pulse compression, and Coherent processing. - Experience with DevSecOps and developing in a secure environment a plus - Experience with developing for operational platforms a plus - Experience with WebServices and Net Centricity a plus - Familiarity with Solaris and Fortran a plus
