Solidus is searching for a Software Programmer/Analyst. The successful candidate will join a group that whose expertise includes advanced passive imaging system hardware development and video-processing technology research and development. These areas of expertise are used to support the development of advanced system concepts (architecture definition; prototype design; and hardware, algorithm, and software fabrication) for Department of Defense and NASA.
The group currently has a satellite on orbit that requires programmer/analysis support.Responsibilities: - Builds and codes applications and/or modules using a variety of programming languages. - Provides patches and upgrades to existing systems. - Designs web based, mobile technology, cloud, and security interface to meet the specific needs of users. - Prepares operating instructions, compiles documentation of program development, technical specifications, and analyzes system capabilities to resolve questions of program intent, output requirements, input data acquisition, programming techniques, and controls. - May build add-on modules using application program language and/or be involved in user testing to provide actionable insights that drive future system design improvements. - May have vendor management responsibility. - May partner and collaborate with cyber security teams to ensure compliance with security standards as well as development operations team while automating process of software delivery and infrastructure changes.Required Skills: - ship and the ability to obtain a DoD Clearance - Bachelor's Degree in relevant areaMinimum of 4 years of experience in: - Neptune Ground Station Framework Software; this skill is a MUST have - Software/Algorithm Development - Software Documentation - AWS Programming - C/C, Java, Python, Bash, SQL, Java Script / HTML / CSS, Matlab - Python Programming/Scripting - Scientific Programming (Python/Julia) - Software Design/Development - XML and SQLPreferred Skills: - GIT/GITHUB - GUI Development - HTML, CSS, XML, XSLT, JavaScript, and AJAX - IDE to Java - Java/J2EE/JEE (JSP, SERVLETS, JDBC, JSTL, SOAP) Development - Java Development - Mobile Applications Development (Android) - Mobile Applications Development (iOS) - MVC frameworks (Struts, Spring MVC, Play) - Object Oriented Software Design and Development - Software Build Scripting (Make/Cmake/Nmake) - Web Application Development - Web-based API Processing - Cloud-based Solutions (e.g. AWS, AZURE, Google)Req ID: 4000Applicants selected must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information.
