Senior Enterprise Architect

Location: Marlborough, MA Description: • Meets with Business and IT domain leaders to capture strategic objectives, core capabilities, and pain points. Conducts detailed root cause analysis to pinpoint specific areas of people, process, and technology opportunity.• Collaborates with Business and IT stakeholders to identify an approach and/or plans for resolving people, process, and technology gaps.• Produces architectural models and artifacts that represent the outcomes of the Business Architecture domain.• Contributes to the continued evolution of Business Architecture methods, tools, and best practices through industry research and practical experience.• Collaborates with other Business Architects to identify cross-portfolio opportunities.• Experience in applying Business Architecture principles, methods, and tools to identify and address business needs and opportunities• Experience with Business Architecture model concepts – e.g. Strategies, Value Streams, Business Capabilities, Applications – and the modeling of relationships between them• Subject matter expertise in 1 or more of these functional domains: Supply Chain, Merchandising, Retail store operations, HR, Finance, eCommerce• Direct experience working with business partners to understand current/future capabilities, pain points, and root cause• Able to work effectively at all levels of an organization, across business and IT; able to partner to influence and gain consensus• Thinks broadly; considers implications across multiple business functions• Strong analysis and decision-making skills; ability to synthesize data from many sources, and to present findings in a clear and concise manner• Comfortable with ambiguity; able to rely on intuition• Excellent communications and collaboration skills• Strong strategic and critical thinking skills• Ability to learn and adapt quickly• Experience with business case development concepts• Experience collaborating across business and IT functions• Familiarity with strategic planning techniques• Understanding of the off-price business model• Minimum 7-10 years work experience
