Note:
  • Experience with both Waterfall and & Agile Methodologies.

Preferred Experience:
  • Retail experience and Merchandise Planning Systems experience

Job Summary:
  • Our client is looking for a Product Owner on complex Modernization of legacy Planning systems.
  • The candidate will ideally have experience working in an off-price retailer and will have knowledge of Merchandise Planning Business Operations and Merchandise Planning Systems.

Job Requirements:
  • Experience in Oracle RPAS planning is highly desirable.
  • Experience in operating in both Agile and Waterfall Methodologies as a Business Analyst and as a Product Owner.
  • Must have worked on an Agile Release Train as a Product Owner and be experienced in facilitating and participating in ART Ceremonies such as PI Planning and Scrum Team Ceremonies such as Backlog Refinement, Sprint Planning, System Demos.
  • Proven ability to analyze complex cross-functional business processes and defines integrated requirements. Facilitates the design of integrated solutions (process, technical & organizational).
  • Ensures the end-to-end solution is proven to deliver the required business results.
  • Drives adoption of the designed processes and solution use with stakeholders.
  • Communicates with business SMEs to ensure expectations are kept in line with project status.
  • Drives the definition, testing, training, and implementation of functional requirements.
  • Upon implementation, drives knowledge transfer to Support Teams.
  • Ability to model out complex requirements in Excel to prove complex calculations
  • Business Partnering / Stakeholder Management
  • Acts as the liaison with the business and provides direction to their Scrum Team
  • Coaches other Clients/Product Owners in the delivery of artifacts for assigned projects.
  • Develop, monitor, and track plan to create deliverables on an assigned project.
  • Creates/revises/executes the following deliverables using industry-standard techniques as applicable, including but not limited to:
  • Process Maps
  • Data Flow Diagrams
  • Requirements Specifications
  • Functional Design & configuration
  • Change Requests
  • Use Case Scenarios
  • User Stories
  • Acceptance Criteria and Acceptance Testing
  • Support the business with UAT plans and UAT execution
  • 5-10 years experience (ideal would be 7-10)
