My client has a unique and exciting opportunity for a Business Systems Analyst - Project Manager (BSA-PM) to join its Information Technology team We are looking for a senior level IT professional with deep skills and experience supporting corporate systems. The BSA-PM's initial focus will be accountable for understanding the business requirements, system processing implications and data needs of a global Human Resource function who has been building a customized HRMS solution to support a growing global organization. The role will partner with both Business leaders and IT resources to translate business needs into system requirements and technical specifications. In addition, this role will be responsible for managing the project to set expectations.

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Engage with business partners to advise and shape projects to meet their needs. Elicit requirements using interviews, documentation analysis, requirements, and workshops.
  • Develop business requirement documentation, use cases, mock screen designs and workflow diagrams.
  • Organize information gathered from multiple sources, reconcile conflicts and present information in a manner that business customers can review and approve.
  • Coordinate efforts to gather requirements for multiple initiatives simultaneously.
  • Become an expert in the detailed operation and configuration of the software package selected.
  • Create a project schedule and milestone plan and lead the team to deliver the same to meet and/or exceed customer expectations.
  • Work with teams that are geographically dispersed and comprised of all disciplines, such as architects, business analysts, developers and testers.
  • Provide periodic status updates to the stakeholders and escalate issues/risks on time.
  • Engage in the development and execution of testing plans, document, and triage issues. Demonstrate strong analytical and problem-solving skills in leading the project team in issue resolution.

Qualifications, Skills and Experience:

  • Good understanding of applications like Customer Relationship Mgt system, Human Resource Mgt System, Policy Issuance system, General Ledger systems etc.
  • Minimum 3 years' experience in a BSA-PM Role supporting complex systems development or packaged software implementation efforts.
  • Competence in working with relational databases, XML files, data analysis and SQL scripting.
  • Advanced skills in MS Office and Visio (e.g. flow diagrams)
  • Quick learner with ability to adapt to changing environment.
  • Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with a diverse group of executives, subject matter experts and vendor resources.
  • Hands on style with strong problem-solving abilities and a keen attention to detail.
