Description:We are currently seeking a Transport Facilities Engineer. This person will be instrumental in ordering and over seeing the process for Fiber being installed for this wireless Carrier.
bid out fiber requests
enter service orders (ASRs) with fiber vendors
manage delivery of fiber with fiber vendors
orders for telco circuits (roughly 30-50 circuits per month)
will be utilizing TESS to process bids, SiteTracker, granite and salesforce (experience with TESS, SiteTracker or Granite would be HUGE)
Making decisions based on info provided, what to chose for transport options, and purchasing/leasing fiber for cell sites. Could be lit or dark fiber. Work with vendor to ensure fiber is delivered in timely fashion to meet needs of program.
