Job Description
We are currently seeking a full time Administrative Assistant who be part of the Beacon operations team and will be responsible for supporting all time entry, payroll and billing functions.
Major Responsibilities:- Responds to staff billing and payroll needs on a daily basis
- Adds and updates staff and client CPT codes, authorizations, and billing information
- Assists staff with electronic health record connections, passwords and login support
- Provides records as requested by various sources including Social Security Administration, Early Intervention Programs, Schools, parents.
- Works closely with the HR, billing and authorization departments to ensure accuracy of sick/vacation/banked holiday accruals, jury duty, and LOA and claims review and submission.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma
- At least two (2) years of administrative experience working in the field of Human Services and/or Health Care
- Medical billing/coding experience 1-2 years
- Strong communication and computer skills required
- Must be proficient with Excel basics…Advanced Excel skills a plus!
